The Table Foundation welcomed back Portalli’s.
“Harvesting the Power of Food during our fundraising dinner at Portalli’s”
On December 8th, 2017, The Table Foundation hosted a fundraiser dinner at Portalli’s Ellicott City which re-opened after the devastating flood of July 2016. The intimate gathering of 90 guests where served an exclusive 5 course menu specially prepared by Father Leo, Chef Keith Hosley of Portalli’s and Chef Steven Allbright of The Table Foundation.
Guests were treated to Poached Pear and Blue Cheese Salad, Salmon Imperial, and Braised Short Ribs with Truffle Mashed Potatoes to highlight just a few items. Dessert was Brazo de Mercedes with Grand Marnier Sabayon Sauce.
It was an amazing, inspiring event that raised $40,000 for The Table Foundation House, the newest social enterprise being introduced to Baltimore by The Table Foundation and Father Leo.
