Faithful Servant Mike La Charite.
Thank You and God Bless!
Former Operations Manager,
Mike La Charite
After nearly four years of tireless efforts to help “set the table” for The Table Foundation, Plating Grace, and the Plating Grace and Grub Food Truck in so many major, but often unseen ways, Operations Manager Mike La Charite is moving on from day-to-day work with the organization, though he will continue to serve as a consultant and avid supporter.
The measure of the ways that Mike has helped contribute to the growth and successes of these organizations cannot be overstated as he helped to establish the business infrastructure, and was instrumental in getting the Food Truck funded, registered, staffed and ready for business, and for the past couple of years all the way from California!
Whether he was assisting in confirming an event’s details with his quick replies and direction, or obtaining licenses in each of the counties in Maryland to operate, or designing and managing the TTF and PGG websites, Mike has left an indelible mark on the mission of The Table Foundation and Plating Grace world.
He will continue in the food industry, as he more fully promotes the International Sous Vide Association (ISVA), which he co-founded and where he helps to educate professional chefs and home cooks on the now-popular cooking technique (which in French means “under vacuum”). Sous vide has been used by high-end restaurants for years, and it is one of the main reasons the Food Truck's meats are so delicious and of such high quality. You can check out his site at www.theisva.org.
On behalf of Father Leo and the entire Plating Grace team, we sincerely thank Mike for all of his work and dedication, and praying for special blessings over him and his family in this new chapter of his life. And remember, Mike, there is always a place at our table for you!
